All Things Axolotl Workshop
Learn about axolotls and their Michigan cousins!
Service Description
Please join us on Wednesday, May 7th, 2025 from 6-7 pm for our All Things Axolotl Workshop! Participants will learn about the charismatic axolotl and its Michigan cousin, the blue-spotted salamander. G.T. Butterfly House & Bug Zoo will be sharing about axolotls and why they're critically endangered in the wild. Julie Crick with MSU and the Michigan Vernal Pools Partnership will teach about vernal pool ecosystems and their importance to Michigan salamanders, frogs, and other wildlife. Adults and kids are welcome to attend! The cost of this workshop is $5/person. Registration is required as space is limited. This event will be held at the Missaukee District Library, 210 S.
