Chere Elenbaas is serving as temporary Missaukee County Recycling Educator and Coordinator and is available to civic groups, schools, and governmental entites for presentations regarding recyclng. She can assist in setting up your business for efficient recycling.

Missaukee County Recycling Center is funded through Missaukee County, townships, USDA Rural Development Solid Waste Management grant obtained by Missaukee Conservation District and sale of materials. Through partnerships with Missaukee County justice system, Community Service and jail trustees assistance is provided in the processing of materials.
Hours: Wednesday 9 am to 5 pm
           Saturday 9 am to 1 pm

City of Lake City
Best Trash will pick up your recycling the first and third Tuesday of each month. The recycling will be processed locally at the Missaukee County Recycling Center.
City of McBain
Tidy Trash will pick up your recycling the last Friday of the month. Place your recyclables in a 13 gallon white garbage bag, write "Recycle" on it, and place by curb.
